An on-site gym people actually use

An office gym is a benefit until somebody asks what it costs per head who uses it. The usual blocker is not motivation - it is that people have forty minutes, no idea what two thirds of the room does, and no appetite for working it out in front of colleagues.

What you’re dealing with

People have a lunch break, not an evening

A workplace session is squeezed between meetings. Time spent working out what a machine does, or wandering the room looking for one, comes straight out of the part that was the point.

Nobody wants to look lost in front of colleagues

This is the difference between an office gym and a commercial one. Getting a machine wrong in a gym full of strangers is forgettable; doing it in front of someone from your own team is not, and plenty of people simply avoid the room instead.

No staff, so no induction

Workplace gyms are rarely staffed, and facilities teams are not trainers. New starters get a door code and a wall poster from whenever the room was fitted out.

You cannot defend what you cannot measure

At renewal somebody asks what the gym is being used for. Without numbers the honest answer is a guess, and a guess loses to a spreadsheet.

What changes

  • An interactive map of the room

Built from your floor plan, so somebody with forty minutes knows where they are going before they take the lift down.

  • A demo for every machine

Tap any piece of equipment for a video with coaching cues and safety notes. Learning a machine privately, on your own phone, removes the reason most people never try it.

  • Sessions that fit the time available

Workouts built around your equipment list, so staff can follow something structured instead of repeating the two machines they already know.

  • Usage you can put in front of finance

The portal shows how busy the gym is by day and by hour, and which equipment is actually being used. That is the case for keeping it, or the case for changing what is in it.

  • Consistent across sites

Each office is mapped on its own, but staff moving between them get the same experience and the same guidance.

Someone training in a small on-site gym

“We do not want to be coaching our own staff”

You are not. What each machine shows is how that machine is meant to be used and what to be careful of - the same ground a manufacturer’s poster covers, except current, specific to the kit you bought, and available at the machine rather than by the door.

See it on your office gym

We survey the room, film the equipment and build the map. Tell us how many sites you have and we will take it from there.
