Map Your Gym

For personal trainers

Be the coach members already recognise

Most PTs win clients by being visible on the floor at the right moment. Map Your Gym gives you a second way to be visible — a profile in the app every member of your gym uses, with the demonstrations filmed by you.

What you’re dealing with

Members don’t know who you are

Unless someone happens to be on the floor while you are, you are a name on a board by reception. Getting in front of members is most of the job, and it depends on being in the right place at the right time.

You explain the same machine constantly

A significant share of a first block of sessions goes on teaching equipment rather than coaching. Useful, necessary, and not what the client is paying your hourly rate for.

Clients forget between sessions

Whatever you covered on Tuesday is hazy by Saturday, when they are on their own and the programme depends on them remembering your cues.

What changes

  • A profile every member sees

Your specialisms, your approach and a way to contact you, inside the app members open to find their way round the gym — not on a noticeboard they walk past.

  • The demonstrations are yours

When your gym films its equipment demos with you, you are the voice giving the coaching cues to every member who taps that machine. That is reach you cannot get standing on the floor.

  • Sessions spent coaching

Clients can look up a machine themselves before and after, so your hour goes on technique, programming and the things only you can do.

  • Your cues, between sessions

The coaching notes stay with the exercise, so a client training alone on Saturday has the same guidance you gave them on Tuesday.

“I don’t own the gym — can I even get this?”

Not directly, no. Map Your Gym is bought by the gym, not by individual trainers. If yours is not on it yet, the fastest route is to send this page to whoever runs the floor — the induction load and member retention arguments tend to land harder coming from a coach than from us.

Get your gym on it

The gym buys it; you get the profile and the demos. Send this to whoever runs your floor.
